It'd be like a boxer and capoerista having a fight in which they both agreed to not use kicks, and then saying the boxer's un-surprising victory is indicative of the boxer being a flat out better fighter.
As if him winning with the best circumstances means he'd win in every circumstance. I'm just saying you can't take a match where one participant was obviously and openly playing with a stacked deck as demonstrative of some kind of monstrous skill gap between the two. And he determined the one we saw as having the conditions that put him at greater odds over Hisoka. He probably ran through his head various locations and conditions for their fight, with various skills and strategies. Forgetting that Chrollo defined those exact settings.Īnd, considering how long he left Hisoka hanging after the exorcism to gather his cards and define his plan, there is absolutely no reason to assume he didn't pick what he thought were the best conditions for his near flawless victory. They are assuming that Chrollo just adapted perfectly to the conditions and setting of their last fight. Hisoka may not be able to win, but in this type of location, I think the skill gap in Hisoka and Chrollo's hatsus would be as small as possible and Hisoka may have a better chance.Įverybody else seems to be arguing there's a big gap between them, and that Chrollo would still almost undoubtedly win because he'd just pick different skills and strategy for different circumstances. If Hisoka ever beats Chrollo I can see it happening in some sort of flat terrain with no spectators and no interferences. In a secluded area, I think Hisoka would be a much better fighter against Chrollo since bungee gum seems to work about the same regardless of location.
HXH MANGA HISOKA VS CHROLLO SERIES
In the original battle he held his ground for as long as possible, but when that many people attack you at once with no regard for their own lives, it's pretty tough to win. The confrontation between Chrollo and Hisoka is one of the best battles in Hunter X Hunter, but who won the boutShnen fantasy manga Hunter X Hunter is the brainchild of Yu Yu Hakusho creator Yoshihiro Togashi and has been adapted into not one but two anime series (the first by Nippon Animation and the second by the acclaimed Studio Madhouse).
I don't know if Hisoka would have won, but he would have definitely stood a better chance of winning if there weren't a ton of spectators. Plus, Chrollo isn't an idiot and would probably choose powers that would logically work best for the fight's location. I think Chrollo definitely would have used different abilities, he seems to have hundreds in his book and some of them are bound to be better suited for a secluded area.
